Okenite is most often found in cotton ball formations within Basalt geodes. It has a hardness of 4.5 to 5 on the Mohs scale of hardness. It’s mainly found in clusters and isn’t usually used in jewelry. Nice pieces of this stone tend to be expensive because of how rare they are to find a large piece.
